Kelyan Lab, the Italian leader in the field of multimedia converging services and platforms for mobile, broadband and wire-line worlds, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Cicero Networks, the leading provider of Voice over Wireless IP solutions for operators and service providers. Cicero Networks’ award winning Voice over Wi-Fi products enable operators to provide wireless voice services at a much lower cost than traditional cellular telephony.
Kelyan Lab will market a converged Wi-Fi GSM solution based on the Cicero Networks’ CiceroPhone and Cicero Controller products in the Italian market. This solution enables seamless handover between GSM and Wi-Fi networks and the use of a single device for all calls - fixed, cellular and VoIP.
The agreement forms the basis for the development of innovative converging voice services for the Italian telco and corporate market leveraging both Cicero Networks solutions and Kelyan Lab specific expertise and integration capabilities.
