CiceroController

The Cicero product suite, which comprises both client (CiceroPhone) and server (CiceroController) components, allows operators to introduce converged voice and other multimedia services to their residential and enterprise customers quickly and cost-effectively without comprising on service quality. A key requirement in the move towards converged services is that the user experience is enhanced rather than diminished in the converged network environment. As a result, Voice Call Continuity (VCC) is seen as a key early application in the move towards IMS, as it enables users to move between circuit-switched and IP-based networks without any interruption during a call. This makes VCC one of the key transition technologies as we move towards the future all-IP multimedia architecture.

CiceroController is a VCC (Voice Call Continuity) application server which enables seamless roaming of calls between IP (Packet Switched) and Cellular (Circuit Switched) networks according to the 3GPP IMS Specifications.

Designed for deployment in both pre-IMS and IMS networks, CiceroController VCC As enables service providers to deliver fixed mobile convergence (FMC) services efficiently and cost effectively.

SIP, IMS, Open-standards

CiceroController is a SIP, open-standards based platform that integrates easily into a service providers' existing TDM or IP infrastructure and provides a natural migration to IMS next generation networks. 

MSC Independent

Uniquely, CiceroController does not require access to a Mobile Switching Centre (MSC) to deliver converged services and is ideally suited to all service providers who want to deliver fixed mobile convergence services with minimal network impact.

Access Network Agnostic

CiceroController is designed to manage voice and other multimedia sessions originating and terminating over any IP bearer – Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 3G, LTE

Single Device, All Calls

Using multi-mode smartphones or PDA, subscribers can benefit from using a single device for all of their calls – VoIP, Fixed-line Cellular and PBX –  where calls will be routed over the best available network - Wi-Fi, 2G cellular, 3G, WiMAX, LTE - from a cost and quality perspective.
